About the Sanctuary
Nestled in the hills of New South Wales, Whisker Woods Sanctuary is a place where animals who have nowhere else to go find safety, compassion and a permanent home.
Founded by a small, dedicated team of animal lovers, the sanctuary rescues and rehabilitates horses, cows, sheep, kangaroos, chickens, cats, dogs and native wildlife. From orphaned joeys to retired racehorses, every resident receives individualised care.
Our work is made possible entirely through the kindness of donors and volunteers. Every dollar goes directly toward feed, veterinary care and maintaining safe shelter for our animals.
